On behalf of Alexandria Public Schools, we are so excited to host the 2019 Ignite Inspire Innovation Conference in the beautiful Alexandria Lakes Area! This conference is an offshoot of  EdLeader21, focusing on Innovation and Best Practices in Education, along with work around the Four C’s, Portrait/Profile of a Graduate, and Project-Based Learning (PBL). We look forward to this purposeful time in which to share, collaborate, and deepen our learning.

If your school or district is committed to 21st century skills, then you might be looking for ways to take that commitment deeper. Our crowd-based innovation model is a great way to engage both staff and students in a real-world application of the 4 C's. Minnetonka's eight-year journey to build an open innovation program with human-centered design and lean prototypes to drive strategic planning and continuous improvement will be a focus for this presentation as well as the launch of the InnovateK12 network of schools and districts that now use the same toolkit to give staff and students a voice in the future design of the organization. This model provides much-needed agency for staff, and it's great way to prepare your students for success in the 21st century! Join our session and either share your innovation story or learn how to join the growing list of schools and districts that are launching their own innovation programs!
