On behalf of Alexandria Public Schools, we are so excited to host the 2019 Ignite Inspire Innovation Conference in the beautiful Alexandria Lakes Area! This conference is an offshoot of  EdLeader21, focusing on Innovation and Best Practices in Education, along with work around the Four C’s, Portrait/Profile of a Graduate, and Project-Based Learning (PBL). We look forward to this purposeful time in which to share, collaborate, and deepen our learning.

Join this session to learn about the United Nations’ Global Goals for Sustainable Development (SDGs) and join the #TeachSDG movement!  The Global Goals can be used a platform to foster global awareness and support global competency in your classroom. See how teachers from a variety of subject areas have integrated the Global Goals into learning experiences. Time will be spent exploring free online resources and discussing global competency.
